Teen Arrested in Cedar Falls Shots Fired Incident

An arrest has been made in connection with a shots fired incident in Cedar Falls late Tuesday night.  Cedar Falls Police responded to the shots fired call near W. 15th St. and Franklin St. just before midnight.  Police reported two vehicles fled the area after the gunshots.  Shell casings were found at the scene with no damage in the immediate area.  Arrested on Wednesday was 17-year old Shawntelly Johnson.  He’s been charged with a controlled substance violation while in possession of a firearm, and intimidation with a dangerous weapon.  Police say the investigation continues.  If anyone has information or video on the incident, please contact Cedar Falls Police at (319) 273-8612.
