A Waterloo man faces charges in a wrong way crash that killed one person in Bremer County last year. Law enforcement said 37-year old Willie Walker was southbound on US Highway 218 outside Janesville just before 10:00PM on May 27th when his vehicle crossed over the grass median and collided with another vehicle. A passenger in Walker’s car died at the scene. Officials said blood tests resulted in a BAC of .131 and Walker did not have a valid driver’s license. Walker has been charged with homicide by vehicle, operating under the influence and serious injury by vehicle. A preliminary hearing is set for this Friday at 4:00PM.
