The state’s larger schools will begin Boys High School Basketball postseason play tonight, as 3A and 4A Substate Quarterfinal action will take place.
In games involving area schools:
In 4A, Substate-3: Waterloo West will host Cedar Rapids Jefferson and Waterloo East is at Marshalltown.
Cedar Falls received a First-Round bye and will await the winner of the Waterloo East-Marshalltown game, Friday night at Cedar Falls.
And in 3A:
In Substate-2, Waverly-Shell Rock will host Webster City.
And in Substate-3, Independence travels to Western Dubuque.
All area games will start tonight at 7.
