Jesup Voters Say Yes to School Bond Issue

Voters in the Jesup Community School District went to the polls Tuesday and overwhelmingly approved a $13.9 million bond issue.  Unofficial results for Buchanan and Black Hawk Counties show 77.5% favored the referendum.  At least 60% approval was required to pass.  Money from this bond issue will go toward renovations and additions across the school campus.
