Named to the first team were linebacker Jack Campbell and defensive back Riley Moss, while tight end Sam LaPorta was named to the third team.

Campbell, a Cedar Falls native, was a second-team All-American selection by the Football Writers Association of America last year. He earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and was second in the conference with 143 tackles, the 5th-most ever in a single season at Iowa.

Iowa opens their season at home September 3rd against South Dakota State.
