In baseball, 4A 10th-ranked Cedar Falls rolled past 3A 10th-ranked Independence, 14-3, in 5-innings.
In softball, Cedar Falls took a pair of games from Cedar Rapids Washington, 13-0 and 13-1.
Cedar Rapids Jefferson swept a doubleheader from Waterloo West, 12-0 and 7-1.
Cedar Rapids Kennedy swept a doubleheader from Waterloo East, 14-4 and 10-5.
And Waterloo Columbus shutout English Valleys, 9-0.
