Waterloo Council Approves Fireworks Use Change

Fireworks Usage Only on July 4th

The Waterloo City Council Tuesday night unanimously approved changes to the city’s fireworks ordinance.  Fireworks usage will be allowed only on July 4th between 12 noon and 11:00PM.  Any additional days would need to be approved by council before March 1st. Previously, residents could use fireworks on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th.  Council approved all three readings of the ordinance change.
