Waterloo East high school football standout Shakur Wright has announced his commitment to UNI. He made the announcement on social media.
The 6-foot-4-inch, 217-pound defensive end collected 12-1/2 tackles, four tackles-for-loss and 1-1/2 sacks for the Trojans.
As a running back he rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns.
