In Class 4A, Des Moines East defeated Cedar Falls, 5-0, and Ames shutdown Waterloo West, 2-0.
In Class 3A, North Scott stopped Waterloo East, 10-0.
In Class 1A, Waterloo Columbus rolled past Cascade, 5-1.
In area boys substate semifinals last night;
In 2A, Webster City downed Aplington-Parkersburg, 5-1, and Center Point-Urbana edged Independence, 1-0.
In 1A, Gladbrook-Reinbeck defeated North Fayette Valley 4-0.
Hudson beat Bellview Marquette, 3-0.
Denver slipped past Postville, 2-1
