More Charges for North Liberty Man Accused In Cedar Falls Home Invasion

After an investigation into a home invasion in Cedar Falls, a suspect has been charged with burglary and sexual assault due to DNA evidence. 25-year-old Asante Walker-Garcia Adams, of North Liberty, was arrested May 19th for burglary after a home invasion in the 1900 block of College Street on April 10th. The resident reported that an unknown man had come into the home and sexually assaulted them. A month before that, there was a reported burglary and sexual assault at a home on Stardust Drive in Waterloo on March 10th.  Detectives were able to recover DNA from both crime scenes. The DNA was matched to Adams and he has now been charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of burglary.
