Four area schools battled it out in Class 1A boys Substate Soccer Finals last night.
Waterloo Columbus defeated Hudson, 3-1. The Sailors improved their record to 9-8.
Top-ranked Gladbrook-Reinbeck overpowered Denver, 4-1. The Rebels remain undefeated at 18-0.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck will be the top-seed at the State Tournament. The Rebels take on 8-seed Waterloo Columbus in the 1A Quarterfinals this coming Tuesday at 1:00 in Des Moines.
