Five Metro volleyball players earn MVC Valley Division All-Conference honors

The Mississippi Valley Conference has released its Valley Division All-Conference volleyball honors.

Cedar Falls’ Brynn Bakula was named the Player of the Year.

Bakula, a senior setter, was a four-year starter for the Tigers. She dished out an MVC-leading 886 assists this season.

Bakula, Kennedy Krecklow, Anni Wedgbury and Hadi Smith were named to the Valley Division’s first team. Waterloo West’s Ava Jones was also a first team selection.

Cedar Falls’ Matt Johnson was named Valley Division Coach of the Year.
