Three Area Schools Preparing for Football Quarterfinal Action Friday

Following games last Friday, the State High School Football Playoff Quarterfinals are set for this week.

Here’s the match-ups for the area schools:

In 1A, defending state champion Grundy Center will host Beckman Catholic. The Spartans are 10-0, while the Blazers are 9-1.

In Class A, 10-0 Wapsie Valley is hosting 9-1 Lynnville-Sully.

And in 8-Man, Don Bosco will play at defending state champion Bishop Garrigan. The Dons own a 7-2 record, while the Golden Bears are 10-0.

All games will take place Friday night at 7.
