I’m thrilled to welcome back to the show Eliz Guyer — Executive Director of the Cedar Valley Arboretum & Botanic Gardens!

Last time she joined us, she was just settling into her new role. And today, she’s here during one of the Arboretum’s most magical events: Illuminate the Gardens.

If you haven’t experienced it yet, this is the Arboretum like you’ve never seen it before—glowing pathways, dazzling light installations, festive décor, cozy fire pits, hot cocoa, s’mores kits…the whole place is transformed into a winter wonderland Thursdays through Saturdays, 5 to 9 pm, now through the holidays.

We’re diving into Eliz’s job as Executive Director of the Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens: what’s happening behind the scenes, and how this spectacular event is helping bring even more people into one of the Cedar Valley’s most beautiful spaces.
