The Boys portion of the Battle of Waterloo Wrestling Tournament begins today.
A total of 32-schools will be competing with four brackets of 8-teams.
The top seeded teams are: Don Bosco, Clarion-Goldfield, Indianola and Southeast Polk. Southeast Polk is the defending champion.
Here’s the opening round matches for the Metro schools competing:
In the morning session beginning at 9: Cedar Falls will take on North Scott, Waterloo East challenges Pleasant Valley and Waterloo Columbus goes against Don Bosco.
And today at 4, in the afternoon session, Waterloo West squares off against Indianola.
The dual team tournament will go through tomorrow.
