Waterloo West girls bowling team & Columbus Catholic’s Karlie Morgan qualify for State Tournament

The Waterloo West girls bowling team is headed to the State Tournament. 

The Wahawks qualified yesterday with a second-place finish at the 3A Regional in Marshalltown. 

West’s Lexi Peverill, Meghan Sommerfelt and Natalie Brown will also compete in individual competition at the State Tournament. 

In a 1A Regional at Maquoketa, Columbus Catholic’s Karlie Morgan qualified for State individually. 

The girls’ State Bowling Tournament takes place next Tuesday through Thursday at Cadillac XBC in Waterloo.
