2.16.26 – Class 2A & 1A 1st round boys district basketball results

The high school boys basketball postseason began last night with 1st round district games in Class 2A and 1A.

In Class 2A 1st round district games involving area teams;

Hudson defeated Oelwein, 71-56,

and Sumner-Fredericksburg slipped past Jesup, 58-56.

In 1A districts involving area teams;

Turkey Valley edged Cedar Ridge Christian, 61-58,

Don Bosco defeated of Collins-Maxwell, 69-52,

Janesville beat BCLUW, 56-34,

Wapsie Valley overpowered Tripoli, 85-38,

and Gladbrook-Reinbeck ran past Dunkerton, 68-52.
