Trio of metro schools qualify for boys State Bowling Tournament

Metro schools will be well represented at next week’s high school boys State Bowling Tournament.

At yesterday’s qualifying meets Waterloo West earned a berth into the Class 3A team competition, while Waterloo East qualified in Class 2A and Columbus Catholic qualified in Class 1A.

In Class 3A,

Waterloo West’s Davin Smith, Hunter Steimel and Rush Steen.

In Class 2A,

Waterloo East’s Alex Huntley and Tyler Peterson.

In Class 1A,

Columbus Catholic’s Lucas Clark, Cayden Clark and Evan Lytle.
