Vicki Chats with Kate and Tera Flitton, Stellar Trick Riding Cowgirls

Kate and Tera Flitton

Get ready, Waterloo — because the horsepower, heart, and high-flying talent are coming back to the arena.

On February 20th and 21st, the 29th Waterloo Bull Riding Challenge takes over the legendary Hippodrome, and among the elite bull riders and world-class bullfighters, you’ll witness something truly electrifying — the Stellar Trick Riding Cowgirls, Kate and Tera Flitton.

These sisters don’t just ride horses — they fly. Roman riding, vaulting, precision timing at full speed — and they make it look effortless.

Kate, now a seasoned competitor and performer, has trained her own horse, Trigger, alongside her dad, Cody — and yes, we are absolutely giving Dad Cody and Mom Linda their flowers today, because Big Bucks ProRodeo didn’t build itself. Tera, still young but already fierce, has trained Asari and lights up every arena she enters.

They’ve performed in over 12 states, shared the arena with top names in rodeo, and continue to inspire young riders across the country — all grounded in strong family values and a powerful Christian faith.

Ladies — welcome back!
