From the plains of Wichita to the hardwood at University of Northern Iowa, she’s proof that heart, hustle, and humility still win championships.
She was raised in Urbana, Iowa, sharpened her competitive edge at Center Point-Urbana High School, graduated in 2022, and never stopped pushing forward. Now she’s a senior leader on the UNI Women’s Basketball team — and as if that wasn’t impressive enough — she’s also tackling one of the toughest majors on campus: nursing.
Four semesters down. Two to go. Practices, travel, exams, clinicals… and she’s still showing up for her team.
Today we’re talking about grit. About balancing textbooks and timeouts. About what it takes to compete at a high level while preparing to care for others off the court. And maybe — just maybe — we’ll find out what makes her laugh, what makes her tick, and whether she has any pet peeves in the locker room.
