Vicki Chats with Grace Ruzicka and Diane Wolfe
GRACE
Today we’re shining a spotlight on the next generation of leaders—and trust me, you’re going to love this one. Joining me is Grace Ruzicka, an impressive 11th grader from Union High School. She’s a standout athlete on the United Soccer Team, deeply involved in FFA, and has already qualified for state—no small feat! When she’s not on the field or competing, she’s caring for and showing livestock, with big dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Grace brings heart, hustle, and a whole lot of passion to everything she does—and today, she’s helping bring a delicious community event to life!
DIANE
And alongside Grace, we have a true pillar of our community. Diane Wolfe joins us as the ISU Black Hawk County 4-H Youth Coordinator, with an incredible 24 years of service through Extension. Diane has dedicated her life to mentoring young people and helping them grow into confident, capable leaders. When she’s not shaping futures, she’s enjoying life on her farm—raising Baby Doll sheep and chickens, and soaking up time with her family, including her three children and six grandchildren. Diane is the heart behind so many meaningful opportunities for our youth, and today she’s here to share one more—an event you won’t want to miss.
