Today we’re shifting gears here on Vicki Chats—and I’ve got TWO automotive professionals joining me for the ride! Michael Spaulding Jr., Sales Manager and Edwin Mulbah, Sales Associate with Dale Howard Auto Center in Waverly.
Michael Spaulding Jr.’s journey is anything but ordinary. Originally from Janesville, Wisconsin, he came to Iowa to attend Iowa State University, started out studying Mechanical Engineering, discovered a passion for design—and then took an unexpected turn into the automotive industry. What began as a part-time sales position eventually became an eight-plus-year career, taking him from Sales Consultant to Finance Manager and now Sales Manager with the Dale Howard Family.
And along the way, Michael and his wife, Paige, made Waverly their home, while Michael became involved with the All-In Mentoring program and United Way.
Edwin Mulbah
Originally from Monrovia, Liberia, Edwin built a new life in Waterloo, Iowa, through perseverance, faith, hard work and an incredible willingness to keep moving forward. His path has taken him through customer service, manufacturing, operations and human services, along with studies in Administrative Office Management at Hawkeye Community College.
Edwin is a valued member of the sales team at Dale Howard Auto Center in Waverly, one of Iowa’s most respected family-owned dealerships. Known for its outstanding customer service, strong community involvement, and commitment to helping customers find the right vehicle for their needs, Dale Howard Auto Center has earned the trust of Iowa families for generations. Edwin plays an important role in carrying on that tradition.
Ed’s story is about selling fabulous cars, starting over, finding opportunity, building relationships, and becoming a highly valued presence in the community!
