Iowa Corn Country and the Black Hawk County YMCA are giving away three FREE entries into the 3rd Annual YMCA Triathlon, coming up Sunday, September 13, 2026, at beautiful George Wyth State Park in Waterloo.
Whether you’re an experienced athlete or looking for a new challenge, this sprint-distance triathlon is designed to be fun, achievable, and rewarding. Participants will complete:
- 🏊 500-Meter Swim
- 🚴 16.5-Mile Bike Ride
- 🏃 5K Run
Plus, Iowa Corn Country’s own Vicki St. James will be on hand as the event emcee!

Contest Rules
- Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
- One entry per person.
- Three winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received.
- Winners will receive one complimentary registration to the 2026 Black Hawk County YMCA Triathlon.
- Prize has no cash value and is non-transferable.
- Employees of Coloff Media, the Black Hawk County YMCA, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
- By entering, participants agree to all contest rules and regulations.
