The 2nd-ranked Waverly-Shell Rock boys basketball team held off Grinnell, 56-54, in a Class 3A Substate Final last night in Marshalltown.
Brothers Luke and Noah Frazell each scored 19 points for the Go-Hawks.
Waverly-Shell Rock is now 20-3 and will be seeded 2nd at the State Tournament. The Go-Hawks play 7-seed Pella a week from today on Tuesday, March 5th, at 7:15pm.
