Waterloo Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in downtown Waterloo early Wednesday. Around 3:20AM, two people broke into La Placita Taqueria Mexican Store on West 4th Street. They took an undetermined amount of cash from the register and fled from the building. Police responded to an alarm that went off after the break-in. No arrests have been made thus far.
