Waterloo Man Charged With Second Degree Murder

A Waterloo man is facing second degree murder charges from a November 2022 stabbing. LaMarcus Williams faces murder charges from the stabbing death of his 39-year old girlfriend Rebecca Taylor.  She had called 911, alleging that Williams was trying to kill her.  When officers arrived, Taylor was found unconscious.  She died days later at a local hospital.  Police say that Williams admitted to assaulting Taylor when he was interviewed after the incident.  He had been arrested for domestic assault.  Williams is being held on $1 million cash bond.
