Prior to Monday’s final Cedar Falls City Council meeting, there was a reception to honor outgoing Mayor Rob Green along with outgoing council members Susan deBuhr, Simon Harding and Dave Sires. Council member deBuhr served for 20 years on the council, before deciding to step down and not run for re-election this fall.
Councilman Simon Harding served one term, and additionally served as Mayor Pro-tem.
Finally, Green offered his thoughts on his service as mayor of the city.
Sires did not attend the reception.
