The high school girls basketball postseason began last night with Class 1A Regional First Round games.
Among games involving area teams;
Waterloo Christian defeated Don Bosco, 60-40.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck blew by Nashua-Plainfield, 75-35.
Newman Catholic rolled past North Butler, 55-16.
Clarksville beat Janesville, 54-35.
Dunkerton ran past West Central, 64-15.
Central Elkader took care of Tripoli, 58-31.
And North Tama surprised Meskwaki Settlement, 50-46.
Class 2A and 3A Regional First Round games begin tomorrow night.
