A chase early Monday morning ended with a teen injured on Highway 3 near 10th Ave. SW in Waverly. Iowa State Patrol officials say troopers were chasing a 2008 Volkswagen Beetle driven by 18-year-old Wyatt Mitchell of Allison east on Highway 3 into Waverly. Mitchell then steered abruptly going into the north ditch causing the car to vault and roll. This caused Mitchell to be ejected from the car. He was then taken to the Waverly Health Center for treatment. No other details have been provided.
