Cedar Falls Police is looking for more information in connection to an alleged home invasion and assault that happened early Monday. Officers were dispatched to a home invasion in the 1900 block of College Street around 3:00AM. They had received a report that a man entered the residence through an unlocked window. The homeowner was home at the time and was allegedly assaulted. Police say the intruder left the house with multiple items and fled on foot. Police were able to obtain video footage of a man that matched the description given by the victim. That footage was given by a different resident and before the break-in occurred.
