Aplington-Parkersburg edged Dike-New Hartford, 4-3.
Denver beat Sumner-Fredericksburg, 7-3.
Hudson edged Grundy Center, 3-2.
Anamosa beat Jesup, 8-3.
In Area Class 1A District Quarterfinals…
BGM upset Don Bosco, 3-2.
GMG stopped Gladbrook-Reinbeck, 7-2.
Wapsie Valley downed Janesville, 11-1.
North Linn hammered North Tama, 11-3.
Lake Mills edged North Butler, 2-1.

Waterloo Columbus surged past Dike-New Hartford, 16-6. The Sailors trailed 6-4 going into the bottom of the 5th then exploded for 12 runs to end the game.
Hudson beat Jesup, 7-4.
Wapsie Valley disposed of Denver, 14-4.
In Class 1A,
Clarksville shutout Janesville, 11-0.
Don Bosco took care of BCLUW, 11-3.
Newman Catholic outscored North Butler, 6-5.
