A high speed chase through Cedar Falls to just east of Waterloo early Sunday, resulted in an arrest. It began on West 12th and College Streets. The driver, 38-year old DeMarco Harris, led police through Cedar Falls, Waterloo and east to the Evansdale Drive interchange. Waterloo officers deployed stop sticks to stop him, and he was arrested. Harris was charged with eluding and driving while having a suspended license. He is also being held on a warrant for domestic assault and violation of parole. Cedar Falls police were assisted by Black Hawk County dispatch, the Iowa State Patrol, Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies, Waterloo Police, Evansdale Police, and Merle’s Auto Service.
