Successful 4th of July Fireworks Usage in Cedar Falls

8 Violations, 44 Complaints Noted

Cedar Falls Public Safety says that for the most part, Cedar Falls residents abided by the fireworks ordinance that was in place for the 4th of July weekend.  Public Safety Director Craig Berte says a pre-fireworks campaign was put out which included posting signs at various Cedar Falls intersections regarding when fireworks could be shot off in the city on July 3rd and 4th.

Berte was asked what would be in store for next year, given that July 4th will fall on a Thursday.

Berte added there were no injuries reported, nor any fires in Cedar Falls due to the fireworks.
