One person has died in a one vehicle crash north of Dunkerton on Thursday. The accident happened in the 7000 block of North Canfield Road. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies say a 2006 GMC Canyon truck left the roadway, entered the ditch and hit a utility pole in the west ditch. The driver of the truck was pronounced dead at the scene. No name has been released pending notification of relatives.
