Professional Women’s Bowling Association competing in Waterloo

The Professional Women’s Bowling Association is competing in Waterloo as it conducts the final three events of its season at Cadillac Xtreme Bowling Center.

The Waterloo Open got underway yesterday and goes through tomorrow. The Pepsi Open will take place Friday and Saturday and the PWBA Tour Championship will run Sunday through Tuesday, August 15th. CBS Sports Network will have a live national broadcast on the final day of the Tour Championship

Among the bowlers competing in the Waterloo Open is Ainslee McConaughy of Hudson.

McConaughy will be a junior this coming school year and competes on the Waterloo West bowling team. She will be competing in her first professional event and will be the only high school bowler in the field.
