The Cedar Falls and Waterloo West boys golf teams competed in Mississippi Valley Conference Divisional meets yesterday.
At the Mississippi Conference Divisional meet at Airport National course in Cedar Rapids, Cedar Rapids Xavier won with a 261. Cedar Falls placed 3rd with a 267.
Individually, the Tigers’ Evan Schofield finished second with an even par 73.
Scholfield’s finish yielded first team All-Conference honors, while teammates Anthony Galvin and Drew Larimer were named to the second team.
At the Valley Conference Divisional meet at Meadows Golf course in Dubuque, Dubuque Wahlert won the meet with a 270. Waterloo West placed 6th with a 330.
