The Iowa State Patrol says at least one person was injured after a wrong-way driver crashed into a Denver Police officer on US Highway 63 around 8:20 PM Wednesday night. Officers say they found the driver and tried to stop the wrong-way driver by coming to a stop. The driver then crashed into the officer at a low speed before reversing the car and backing into a ditch. The Iowa State Patrol said the driver was injured but haven’t confirmed the extent of the injuries, at this time no additional details have been released.
