Waterloo Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Waterloo. At around 4:20 PM, emergency crews responded to the area of Linwood Avenue and South Street for a report of a shooting. Officers arrived to find one male victim. He was taken to a nearby hospital. Waterloo Police later confirmed the victim is in critical condition. The victim was shot in the leg. Police say a suspect ran from the scene towards W. 9th Street.
