Bedford’s Kase Coleman hit a game-winning 24-yard field goal with 13 seconds left to defeat Gladbrook-Reinbeck, 31-30, in an 8-Player state playoff football semifinal at the UNI-Dome this afternoon.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck held a 16-8 halftime lead, but the Bulldogs outscored the Rebels 23-14 in the 2nd half for the comeback win.
Gladbrook-Reinbeck finishes its season 10-2.
Bedford advances to next week’s 8-Player Championship game, where it will take on Bishop Garrigan, who defeated Winfield-Mount Union 34-20 this morning.
