Waterloo Police say a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle in Waterloo on Wednesday night has died. The incident happened around 5:00 p.m. at Hawthorne Avenue and Highway 218. The man was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, where he died of his injuries.
