City of Waterloo Declares Snow Emergency

The City of Waterloo has declared a snow emergency in effect immediately until 5:00PM Saturday afternoon. Snow routes are now in effect. Residents are encouraged to move cars off streets to allow snow removal crews to clear off city streets. Residents with cars parked in downtown Waterloo may use the parking ramps at no additional charge during the snow emergency.

The city also encourages residents to take precaution in the extreme cold weather conditions, and if you have to travel, please do so cautiously.  A warming center is located at the Hospitality Center at 1003 Mulberry Street, nightly from 8:00PM-7:00AM.
