The U.S. Conference of Mayors 92nd Winter Meeting is taking place in Washington, D.C. and Waterloo Mayor Quentin Hart is attending and representing the city. The conference takes place from Wednesday through Friday where mayors from across the country work with top federal officials to discuss pressing challenges including mental health, public safety, infrastructure, affordable housing and job creation. Hart, along with nearly 250 other mayors will take part in the conference which concludes with a meeting at The White House with President Joe Biden.
