Black Hawk County Sheriff Tony Thompson announced that there will be a Grand Re-opening and Open House for the Sheriff’s Office next week. The office has gone through several months of demolition and renovation to the front lobby and administrative area. The goal of the renovations was to make more accommodating and private the inmate visitation areas and to also spread out the civilian clerical staff. This was to also help improve workflow and employee workstations. The event will take place next Wednesday, from 10 AM until 1 PM.
