The 2024 High School State Wrestling Tournament concluded Saturday night in Des Moines.
Don Bosco won it’s sixth straight Class 1A title. The Dons had three individual champions and eight medalists. It’s the Dons’ 16th team state title, tying them with Lisbon for the second-most all-time. Waterloo West is the all-time leader with 17.
Among individual Metro wrestlers, Waterloo Columbus Catholic’s Mason Knipp won the Class 1A heavyweight championship.
