Waverly-Shell Rock high school has hired a new volleyball coach.
Bethany Rewerts, who’s been assistant coach with the program the past 11 years, has been hired to guide the Go-Hawks.
Rewerts takes over for long time coach Eavon Woodin.
Woodin announced her retirement in January, retiring as the state’s all-time leader in wins with 1,227. Woodin had been at Waverly-Shell Rock the past 34 years.
