A car fire in Evansdale Thursday night heavily damaged a garage. The fire was reported around 5:00PM, after smoke was reported coming from under the dashboard of a sport utility vehicle parked by the garage at the home at 1001 Schons St. The fire then spread to the outside garage wall. Evansdale fire crews arrived and put out the fire. No injuries were reported and the car was a total loss.
