One person was injured Sunday night after the driver of a car slid underneath a semi-truck and trailer in Cedar Falls. Black Hawk County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Hudson Road exit at Highway 20 around 6:30PM. Upon investigation, they learned the semi driver was exiting off highway 20 eastbound before stopping at the stop sign. The driver of the car didn’t stop in time and slid underneath the semi-trailer. The semi driver was not injured, the driver of the car was taken to Mercy One with minor injuries. No names have been released and the investigation in ongoing.
