Over 600 students will be graduating this week from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls. About two-thirds of these students are planning to participate in the Commencement ceremony Saturday morning at 10 AM in the McLeod Center. This momentous occasion is especially significant for more than 200 students who identify themselves as first-generation college students. The fall 2023 Panther graduates come from a wide variety of backgrounds, representing 7 countries, 15 states and 86 Iowa counties.
