Firefighters from Evansdale were able to pull a man to safety Thursday after he drove his truck into Meyers Lake. The man drove his truck off the boat ramp and into the water. Crews went out by rescue boat and were able to rescue him from the water. The man was taken to a local hospital. Police say that the water was so cold that fire crews had to wear gear to protect themselves from the temperatures.
