Waterloo Residential Inmate Sought

Authorities are looking for an inmate who failed to return from work release assignment in Waterloo. The inmate’s been identified as Andrew Lee Stephens. He’s serving jail time after being convicted of first-degree robbery in Black Hawk County.  The 41-year-old Stephens is a white male, who stands 6′-0″, and weighs 227-lbs. Officials say he was required to report back to the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility Friday, but failed to do so. He was admitted to the work release facility on Feb. 9th. Anyone who has information on Stephens or knows where he is should contact Waterloo police.
